Go Green 2017 Outcome
Sep 18, 2017

Stark & Marsh CPA LLP & Innovation Credit Union hosted the 9th Annual Go Green event September 15th, 2017. This year’s project sites were based on the preparation needed to host the 2019 Summer Games. Sites included flag court, slow pitch diamonds, BMO Courtyard, St. Pats School, Credit Union iPlex, Riverdene, Riverside, Kiwanis, and Elmwood parks, and the Gladstone tree buffer. In only one day volunteers planted 73 trees, 145 shrubs, and 500 perennials.

Our BBQ was held over the noon hour; catered by Country Hills Catering; with live music provided by Bakersfield! All proceeds raised ($525.00) at the BBQ were donated back into our community. This years non-profit was Southwest Crisis Services.
We’d like to thank the businesses in our community that volunteered their time; Great Plains College, Mercator Financial, Swift Current Chamber, Matrix Solutions, and the Dr. Noble Irwin Foundation. Without your commitment to our community, this day wouldn’t be a possibility.

We would also like to mention the City of Swift Current. They have done an incredible job over the years ensuring the entire list of project sites are prepped, extra material is only a call away, and overall doing a lot of leg work prior to the big day. You do an amazing job each year, thank you for the continued support.

Stark & Marsh CPA LLP and Innovation Credit Union thank each of you that contributed to Go Green 2017. We welcome you to view additional photos of the day by visiting our Facebook page.
